Aetene works as systems engineer aboard her ship Starchild. Her particular special fields are computer- and transporter- subsystems. Although her job might be considered uneventful and maybe even boring to some, Aetene (most of the time) appreciates the relaxed and predictable nature of her work.
She shares her work space and overall daily routine with her youngest child, whom not just learns by the regular memory transfer but also by gathering their own physical practise alongside Aetene.
Aetene's plans for the foreseeable future however consist of turning her more exotic special interests into work: She plans to apply for a transfer to research and development, hoping to use her knowledge and expertise of xenotechnology to contribute in planning and creation of new spaceship types.

Weaponry: She is unarmed, yet can use her innate radiation burst as defense if forced to.
Aetene has the typical physiological appearance of an adult Tholian spliced into the Engineering caste. By the standards of her people she looks positively unremarkable. She has a bright lemon coloured pigmentation and can often be seen with several objects attached. If she is not in her EV suit, she has a HUD-eyepiece attached to her head as well as a holo-emitter she wears like one fingerless glove. She also will sometimes wear pieces of decoration, such as a blue beanie made as a little gift by her one of her children.
Her EV suit is basically a standard model, yet Aetene added a few extra functions, such as the ability to polarise/magnetise it, means of hacking most (even foreign) computer devices she comes across, as well as redundant shields and a grappling hook.
The translated voice her suit emits to communicate with most non-Tholians is feminine in sound to underline her overall identification as a female personality.

All in all Aetene is - by Tholian standards - a quite approachable person. While she is hesitant and cautious to actively seek contact or approach others, she nevertheless is willing to interact - even with outsiders - upon external stimuli. Her scientific curiosity tends to outweigh her isolationist upbringing, and especially when it comes to new and exotic technology, Aetene will gladly cooperate with others for the chance to learn something new.
In her private life (or at least the closest possible equivalent possible for a Tholian) Aetene's primary concern is her family. Her most important and beloved task is to raise her children, and despite her own interests and assignments, secure their safety and well-being.

I neither own Star Trek nor Tholians. This Twitter is a non-commercial fun-project.
I do however own Aetene, the Starchild, as well as her associated OCs, screenshots and artwork. (Unless stated otherwise per post.) Please don't take either of them without consulting me first.
As for RPing, I go by general common sense and netiquette; meaning, no powerplay, metagame, forcing of anything and/or unnecessary drama.
If you think I did you wrong (IC or OOC) you can always ask for my Discord and call me to sort things out peacefully.
As for Shipping, the traditional rule of chemistry applies. I do not see Aetene as much of a romance character, but I'm generally open to see where things go within threads.
